Luisa Cunha: I Just Started Sharing It With My Friends

About Luisa Cunha: She is a therapist and she specializes in Aromatherapy. She gives training with Aromatherapy for all women who want to find their physical, emotional, and spiritual balance through essential oils. In this episode, Jennie and Luisa discuss:

Developing new skills by learning from others
All businesses have bad days
What to do when you feel like giving up
Business that transcends just youKey Takeaways:
Learn from other entrepreneurs, get out of your comfort zone and expose yourself to, practice, and learn one of people’s top fears: public speaking.
All businesses have bad days. It’s important to keep going, keep your focus, and be positive, especially on those days. Know that those days give us perspective and build strength.
When you feel like giving up, take some time for self-care. Drink some wine, take a bath, and relax. Talk about it tomorrow.
We have to keep going if we want to help people more. If we go out of business, there’s a bunch of people that are not going to get the help that we’re going to provide.

“We can grow as entrepreneurs, we win and we give to others too. It’s a giver’s game.” —  Luisa Cunha

About McKinley Oswald: For the past 25 years, McKinley Oswald has been heavily involved in working with direct sales companies and industry leaders to help them achieve success. His full-time contributions at Verb began after graduating from the University of Utah in 1998 when he became involved in the culture and direction of Sound Concepts (the company that was acquired by Verb in 2019). Although it originally started with kit assembly and cassette duplication, the company has now progressed far beyond that to offer a diverse lineup of sales-enablement tools and marketing services on the Verb digital platform. In his role as President of Direct Sales, McKinley has worked with hundreds of direct sales companies to help enable their field to succeed.

In this episode, Jennie and McKinley discuss:

An essential companion for business
Technology should be easy
Gamifying to create habits
Connecting to your team

Key Takeaways:

Technology has been business leaders’ constant companion, it’s a great tool for training and communications. Growing your business will mean that you embrace growing technologies.
New technology shouldn’t have to require a PhD to operate, it has to be approachable and easily operable for it to be effective.
Gamifying difficult or repetitive tasks is a good way to create and sustain good habits.
Being connected to your team, being present in their milestones and following up on each new success is essential on growing your team and your business as a whole

“The tools had to do the work… they allow the individual to become the messenger and not have to be the message.” — McKinley Oswald

About Kim Benoy: She is a mom, a wife, and a registered nurse who found a passion for inspiring others using essential oils and her voice as a podcast host. She helps women 40 and over find their courage, confidence, and calm by helping them clear out what’s holding them back.

In this episode, Jennie and Kim discuss:

The biggest win in business
The best way to convince others
Integrating passion into your business
How to build confidence

Key Takeaways:

The biggest win in this business is helping people. Having a large customer base is visible and tangible proof that you’re helping a lot of people.
There are a lot of people who have negative views about network marketing and the best way to enlighten them about the good things about this business is not through argument, but through your actions – by continuing to help people and by succeeding together.
Whatever it is you are passionate about or gets you up in the morning, integrate that into your business. This will make your work more fun, motivating, and life-giving.
To take courage means to first experience fear. Out of that courage will you be able to build your confidence.

“Starting on that journey to be more courageous and confident, that starts in your own head..” —  Kim Benoy

Alison Margaritis: The Beauty of In Person Company Conferences

About Alison Margaritis: Over 30 years ago Alison started her personal development, health & healing journey; albeit one that ebbed & flowed with the changing stages of life. With her husband Con, raising 3 well-adjusted, heart-centered humans who are forging ahead successfully on their individual paths has been one of her greatest joys and challenges in life.

Entering the Network Marketing space with an introduction to Arbonne, 7 years ago while working full-time as an accountant, was a blessing that has brought great joy, personal growth, beautiful friendships and balance into her life. Being able to reduce work stresses & bring the fun back into everyday, the gift of choice is one that Alison loves to share with others.

In this episode, Jennie and Alison discuss:

Trying out things with a little effort

Attending company conventions

Recognizing beliefs that hold you back

A mindset of service and love

Key Takeaways:

Try out new things with some effort. If you find a good amount of success in a little effort, just imagine how much you can achieve by giving a little more intention into it.

Attend company conventions in person. It’s a good way to learn about the company’s culture, what are the people like and what the company values.

There are no limits except what you believe are the limits of what you can do or what’s possible. Only you can truly hold yourself back.

Approach clients with the intent to listen, to serve and to love rather than with desperation or with a self-centered mindset. Encourage your own team members to do their best, whatever that means for them.

“…not take those rejections or obstacles personally because it has absolutely nothing to do with you if you are offering from a place of service or love, not coming from a place of ‘I’m desperate’” —  Alison Margaritis

Adrienne Swanson: Change Your Story You Tell Yourself

About Adrienne Swanson: She is a Gold Leader with Tastefully Simple. She started her career for fun and is now in the top 2 in the nation. She has a blast getting families back to the dinner table and loves helping people change their mindset so that they can be successful and have the life that they have always dreamed of. In this episode, Jennie and Adrienne discuss:

Breaking down your big dream
Stepping out of your own way
Being grateful for what worked
Moving your deadlines up

Key Takeaways:

Dream big, then, break it down into months and into as little pieces that you can so that your big dream becomes manageable and feel more attainable.
The only thing that could ever really stop you is you. Your brain is gonna come up with reasons for you to believe that you can’t do it. But if somebody can do it, you can do it too. Step out of your own way.
Aim high. Be grateful for the things you succeeded at, even if that success wasn’t perfect. Also, remember that a goal without a deadline is just a dream.
Move your deadline up when making your own goals and earlier than everyone else.

“You don’t have to look at history to create your story. Your story gets to be your story and you can make it however you want by just realizing the only reason you have that story is that that’s what you’re telling yourself. ” —  Adrienne Swanson
